چکیده
For the extraction of wind energy through a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), low voltage ride (LVRT) is an essential technical requirement specified by transmission system operator (TSO). Under grid fault condition, DFIG should remain in connection with for certain minimum period and offer reactive power support as required TSO. A cooperative control scheme consisting hardware solution superconducting resistance type current limiter (R-SFCL) software constructed on rotor reference orientation strategy (RRCOCS) transient (TVC), proposed this paper to address LVRT requirement. In strategy, RRCOCS will limit directly during condition. The needs be generated maintain code which achieved TVC. At same time, improvement stator terminal voltage, well suppression current, R-SFCL. R-SFCL also transformed side aiding limiting. scheme’s performance simulated tested 9 MW grid-connected system. results obtained are compared RRCOCS-TVC.

Wind energy is the fastest growing renewable energy source. Double Fed Induction Generator, which is predominantly used nowadays in wind turbines, is very sensitive to grid disturbances and can damage the power electronic converters due to over voltage and over current. Therefore, protection elements which disconnect the machine during fault are very essential. But, in such cases, the reliabili...

Nowadays, the Doubly-Fed Induction Generators (DFIGs) based Wind Turbines (WTs) are the dominant types of WTs connected to grid. Traditionally the back-to-back converters are used to control the DFIGs. In this paper, an Indirect Matrix Converter (IMC) is proposed to control the generator. Compared with back-to-back converters, IMCs have numerous advantages such as: higher level of robustness, r...

This paper have studied the dynamic of a 2.0 MW Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) during a severe voltage sag. Using the dynamic model of a DFIG, it was possible to determine the current, Electromagnetic Force and flux behavior during three-phase symmetrical voltage dip. Among the technologies of wind turbines the DFIG is widely employed; however, this machine is extremely susceptible to di...
